Repayment Obligation of 30k

I left my job at Amazon before the 2 year mark because it wasn't working for my family. They relocated me for the job and now they are asking me to repay the amount which is just shy of 30k... I do not have 30k laying around but my sign on and RSUs I gave up was well more than that. Has anyone else been able to convince them to let it go? Can I ignore this or will they come after me?

Edit: I'm going to reach out about doing a repayment plan and hope that it isn't a terrible rate.
