OFC Amazon email-- is this spam? Please read entire message-- it's long
I received this email:
Hello,
We are writing to inform you that we have reviewed your account and we have noticed that you recently experienced issues with your orders.
Why did this happen? You claimed refunds for not having received the items you ordered. We know that occasional problems with orders are expected in the normal course of business. However, the number of refunds in your account exceed the expectation and is in violation of our Conditions of Use.
To learn more about our policies, go to "Amazon.com Conditions of Use": https://www.amazon.com/conditionsofuse.
On which orders were refunds issued in the past? Here are details of some of your orders where refunds were issued:
And then it listed some items in the piles of things I ordered for Christmas that didn't arrive. I re-ordered most because obviously I needed them for Christmas. I think one I just asked for a refund because I got them something else.
I tried emailing back asking what this meant (the email doesn't actually say any action is being taken at all) and then I got this back:
Hello,
We would like to help you, but the email address you are writing to us from is not registered to the Amazon.com account you are inquiring about.
To protect your privacy, we only send account information to the email address associated with your Amazon.com account. Please contact us from the email address currently associated with your Amazon account.
We are unable to offer you any further assistance on this matter.
BUT that is my email associated with my account and the ONLY email I have. Not to mention the message came to that specific email.
So now what? I tried emailing back and explaining that is my email for the account but basically got the same message back.
