Can Lifestyle Changes Help Control AS? - Looking for Others' Experiences

I was recently diagnosed with AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis). After visiting orthopedic clinics for over 5 years, I finally learned the real cause and began studying various aspects of the condition.

What I've learned:

  1. While the exact mechanism of AS is not clear, it seems to be related to inflammation, antioxidants, and gut microbiota
  2. Current treatments (anti-inflammatory drugs, immunosuppressants) don't seem to address the root cause (inflammation triggered by autoimmune response)
  3. Could lifestyle changes reduce inflammation and thereby prevent AS manifestation?

I'm curious if anyone has tried the following approach:

  1. Measuring inflammatory markers (CRP, ESR, ferritin), antioxidant levels, and gut microbiota distribution at short intervals (1 week - 1 month)
  2. Attempting various lifestyle changes (anti-inflammatory diet, exercise, lifestyle modifications, supplements)
  3. Reviewing whether there are any effects on the measurements from step 1, and if there are any impacts on actual symptoms
  4. Observing whether lifestyle changes can alter the measurements from step 1, and if this can prevent AS manifestation
