Is Indeed worthwhile at all?

On a serious job hunt for the first time in three years and when I last was, I never once heard back from an application submitted on Indeed. And I submitted over 100 on there. Meanwhile, when I submitted like 20-30 applications directly through company websites, I heard back from 3 of them.

Has anyone ever actually gotten a job through Indeed? How many applications did you put out on Indeed?
