What iPad better?

I was planning to get a iPad but the iPad Pro 2024 is kinda too much money. I was either planning getting the iPad Pro from 2022 or the new iPad Air 13 inch. Plan to use it to watch movies and portable monitor for gaming, which one would be better and school. Which one would be better?
