Why are they keeping Jayce relationship so ambiguous?

Even after Arcane Season 2, it feels like Riot is still being ambiguous about Jayce’s romantic relationships. In fact, there's enough in the show and skin voicelines to support both JayMel and JayVik, but they never fully commit to either.

If they really wanted to push one, they could’ve made it clearer by now, by actually confirming or simply by using different medium.(I mean Timebomb, even while it is not canon yet, still has a full lover skin-line and a portfolio artbook).

At this point, it feels less like an oversight and more like a deliberate choice. Maybe they want to keep their options open for future storytelling, or maybe they just know that keeping things ambiguous fuels discussion and keeps both sides invested. Either way, it’s kind of frustrating to see them keep teasing relationships without actually confirming anything.
