Who is Artificial Intelligence made for?

I was watching some Drew Gooden videos when this popped into my mind, but I was wondering who AI is made for? Most of the examples he shows are things that make no sense. First example is AI profiles in Facebook which, no one asked for. Next was AI music on Spotify which, no one asked for. Another was Twitter’s AI bot Grok which, no one asked for. The main theme was that 90% of these AI applications are things that nobody ever asked for or wanted. This leads me to believe that AI is made specifically for companies to make money off of, and not at all to help people
