What Does Xcution Actually Do?

I mean, are they mercenaries, paranormal investigators, or what?

They have the power to manipulate spiritual molecules and they're led by someone who is not only a Fullbringer but a former Soul Reaper.

Do they all just sit up in that bar all day doing fuck all, or does their group have an actual occupation category in the Bleach universe? It would've been cool if they were mercenaries that specialized in fighting hollows and soul reapers, because then the group would serve a more actual purpose than just a metaphorical one.
