Music box girl

I just gave the red jewel to the little girl in Central Yharnam. A troll attacked me in the middle of the dialogue (took a back way). Did the encounter ruin the dialogue? Will I be unable to send her to Iosefka’s clinic? (How do I send characters to Iosefka’s clinic?) When I interact with the window I only hear crying.
