Help ! Ants infesting car

The location of the ants are south Texas . My model 3 is clean. I keep it vacuumed, washed , and don’t really bring food in the car . The ants I have seen are on the outside for the most part , maybe 1 or 2 in the interior . Where are they coming from ? Where do I go from here? Do I call an exterminator ? Or the service center first ? Has anyone experienced something similar with an electric vehicle ?
