I get no output on display from my newbuild pc

So today i build a pc (my first one) and it went very well, but after putting a HDMI cable in my monitor (which works with my laptop) i get no output. I've checked and my motherboard (msi B450 bazooka max wifi) is conpatible with my processor (ryzen 5 2600). I dont know what the problem is. Also the ram is in the right location (second and fouth position)
