How often should I drive to maintain 2025 Hybrid’s batteries?

My partner and I are strongly considering picking up the 2025 Civic Hybrid Hatchback, which we’re hoping to keep nice for as long as possible.

My current Scion tC will continue being my daily driver, with the intention of keeping the Civic safely in the garage but for evening and weekend outings, and roadtrips.

That said, estimates online vary in terms of the minimum driving frequency to maintain the hybrid batteries, and I’m trying to make sure our intended use doesn’t unintentionally shorten battery life.

I assume at least once a week is enough, but if we’re averaging less than 40/30 miles a week, is that a problem?

Any current owners with similar use patterns have any insight to share?

Edit: I finally found mention of this in the manual, under "When Driving" of all places:

High Voltage Battery

The High Voltage battery gradually discharges even if the vehicle is not in use. As a result, if your vehicle is parked for an extended period of time, the battery charge level will become low. Extended periods of time at a low state of charge will shorten battery life. To maintain the battery state of charge, drive your vehicle for more than 30 minutes at least once every three months.

Extreme high temperatures can affect the battery life. You can minimize the effects by parking the vehicle in the shade during the summer.
