Would you buy a SUPER-powerful console?

Like a $1500+ machine that is squarely aimed at competing with the PC market.

The value proposition being: you get the best graphical fidelity and frame rate available, a ton of storage, the ability to game with just a controller, but none of the cumbersome things that comes with PC gaming.

I have my PC hooked up to my television in the living room along with all the current gen consoles, and even though the PC is far more powerful, I find myself playing the consoles more.

Using a mouse and keyboard on my coffee table isn't ideal. But most of all, switching games, pausing games, and resuming games isn't nearly as seamless as on consoles.

And why is shader compilation still happening when my GPU is only at 50% capacity?
