The Superlatives of Dancing with the Stars: Day 43 – Most Under-Rated Rumba | Top Comment Wins!
The dance equivalent of “go girl, give us nothing.”
Bristol Palin and Mark win worst rumba for their emotionless performance. Mark took his shirt off to try and make it more passionate and was called out for it. It was scored twice as part of the ‘double score showdown’, scoring 18 for technique and 14 for performance. Her excuse of “I’m a 19 year old mother, I don’t know how to perform as this sexy, wild woman” is a cop out, especially when Florence (who was literally four times her age) did the rumba that same week and hammed the crap out of it and Shawn (who was 16 during her season with Mark) performed a perfectly age appropriate and respectable rumba in season 8. Her and Audrina were the only two to score more for technique than for performance… interesting.
This makes Mark’s eighth partner to make the list (I’m counting Shawn, even though her wins were from Season 15). Let’s take a look at his partners…
