Mya + Dmitry +💃 = 🔥🔥🔥
Mya and Dmitry make their first appearance on our list, definitively winning ‘best salsa’, getting more than double the next highest suggestion. Her solo showcased her at her absolute best. Mya did so many Latin dances in her season (cha-cha-cha x 2, mambo, rumba, lambada, samba) that by the time her final Latin dance (salsa) rolled around, she had refined her movement to the point where it was hard to distinguish between who is the pro and who is the celebrity.
Mya holds the unique distinction of being the only celebrity thus far to have nominations in all four categories (best salsa, worst freestyle, underrated quickstep, overrated rumba). I will continue to share these fun little facts as they arise and I’ll do a summary at the complete end of the game.
From best to worst.
In my mind, there is only one dance that I think can win this, but I am excited to see what everybody comes up with. I think bad salsas can be just as fun to watch as great ones for all the wrong reasons.
