Tanking as a solo player

I maybe stupid, but there is something cool about the tanks in this game. I started with ff4 so I love the dark knight. But it isn’t the easiest. It’s also weird doing a dungeon for the first time while tanking. Most people are nice but I still get anxiety. Have thought of going to dps but even there, I’m not sure what class to pick. May just try out a couple. Maybe I’m overthinking this but I don’t want to bring people down with my tanking skills. But I also love the tanks in the game. Sadly none of my friends play ff14 so I play solo, would love to play with others but for now, solo. Just realized this has been a vent lol but I’m curious what y’all think and if there are any resources that could help me.
