Taking supplements for mitochondria repair
Hi, it has been about 6 months since my last dose.
I have not tried supplements used for mitochondria repair like ALA, NAC, PPQ, CoQ10, etc. yet.
So far I have used basic supplements such as:
- Magnesium
- Omega 3
- Collagen powder
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin D
- Zinc
And I quit most of them, or sometimes I take a break and start again.
I have many symptoms. Some of them completely disappeared, decreased, or even if they did not decrease, they do not bother me much (for example, forgetting the names of objects haha). Apart from these, some of the symptoms I feel now are:
- Gas/bloating in the stomach and intestines
- Muscle twitching
- Anxiety
- Swollen and visible veins
- Sometimes sleep disorder
- Pressure in the ear and Tinnitus (It started quite late - between 3-4 months - and in my other ear it started 1 month later than the first one)
I looked at posts here about supplements for PQQ, ALA, etc. for mitochondria, but I couldn't decide because some people actually tell us to don't take a lot of supplements if we don't need them. However, some people say we should act early.
Frankly, I don't know if I have symptoms of high ROS in my body or not. I don't want to delay repairing the mitochondria, but people may have problems with these supplements, so I'm worried.
I want to pay attention to mitochondria repair in case there is a problem at the cellular level. Do you have any advice? What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance.
