Stuff you learned WAY too late?

I mean like embarassingly late. I'll go first so you can laugh at my shame and ignorance.

I learned how to do crits at around level 400. And I only learned because I got a quest from Biff that required it.

Okay granted this is my first Fallout game ever (besides Fallout Shelter) and I'd been playing pretty much exclusively full health hvy gun builds, but still. I saw the meter filling up. I heard the beep. And I ignored it.
