1.5 engine question
New to the group, I have this 2017 ford fusion se with a 1.5. I’ve gone through enough subreddits to realize I made a mistake on getting a 1.5 since it’s a ticking time bomb ready to detonate on me . I can comfortably say that I like my car , from interior to exterior or the car , very comfortably. But have questions within the engine . I’m specifically saving up about $10,000 just ready to repair it once it comes to it . Why not buy a new car ? Because I don’t think I’ll find one for $10,000 that I’ll enjoy the same as this one (don’t plan on financing any vehicle) if i was to “upgrade” to the 2019 engine w/out the block/ head problem. What’s another down side that it’ll have to worry about this car ? Or anything bad about those 2019 (updated) and up 1.5 engines ?
