Yet another headlight post

SO I've been reading and going back to older posts trying to find good info. Most of the posts are old and links broken. So I think we need an updated thread.

I have 2 questions. But first, the problems.
Both headlights need to be replaced. One is cracked and mounts broken. Both have dirt inside, reducing the amount of light given out.

So the First question is, how good are these ebay highlights assemblies? I see one that is $90 for both lights that look stock. But then the Original lights are something like $210 each. Are the ebay ones good enough to last 10 years? Or will they fall apart in a year?

Part 2. LED Vs Halogen vs HID.

I currently have stock bulbs. Besides that the lenses are dirty, the light is just too dim to properly light up the road at night in the rain on low beam. It's bad enough just on low beam alone, but when it rains, it's a guess where the road is(there is other factors to why this is, but the DOT here sucks.)

I've read that some LEDs don't fit, and also some flash. I've been told to get HIDs, but then I also read that even the HIDs can flash. I also see fitting issues with those are only certain bulb shapes fit.

What I am looking for is something in the 55W+ range at 6000k light.

Do I need to do the relay setup? If so, anyone have a wiring diagram so I know what wires are the main power?

Who has links and has swaped over with no issues?

I also have the driving/fog lights, and on my pickup I had the LED flashing issues when I used those. So I need to make sure this doesn't happen again.
