Mitter Saw Debate

Hello, I’m a home project DIYer and I’m debating on whether to try a HF mitter saw or purchase one of the big name brands like dewalt/ rigid/ or whatever brands Lowe’s carries. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have seen some terrible reviews on the HF saws but also good reviews. I trust dewalt for my 20V tools and this will be the first saw I’ve purchased and I want it to last.
