Unpopular opinion: I liked Michael Gambon as Dumbledore

I realise this has probably been posted to death but I’m doing a rewatch of all the films and I think I prefer Gambon to Harris. Agree that HDYPYNITGOF! was out of character for Dumbledore but I always felt that Gambon perfectly personified Dumbledores mischievousness and playfulness better than Harris. I personally think that the script didn’t adapt many of Dumbledores eccentricities and loveable moments. They didn’t adapt the moments of him laughing or joking to himself or the more subtle characteristics of Dumbledore. He also doesn’t really feature that much in the films as he does in the books. I really loved Harris don’t get me wrong but he was very serious and not very playful. It’s a shame Gambon didn’t read the books because if he had, he would have been an even better Dumbledore. I’ve read a few existing posts on this but wondered what people didn’t like about Gambon’s portrayal?
