Anyway to get back to the ancient relic in Necropolis..

.. When the truck falls down and a cut scene starts, after the cut scene you are stuck in a room and there is a hole in the ground where you use the whip to lower yourself. There is a relic in that area and I missed it and I don't find a way to get back to it.. Have anyone here found a way back?
