do you guys think Sad Girl is about being the other woman, or the one who’s being cheated on??
the verses seem to imply that lana is singing from the other woman's perspective ("being a mistress on the side might not appeal to fools like you... but you haven't seen my man.") but then the chorus suggests she's the one being cheated on ("his bonnie on the side makes me a sad sad girl.") in my head i've always imagined it to be lana who's getting cheated on, but does that really make sense with the verses?
