Inconsistent internet on mintbook air
Ever since I installed Mint on my 2013 MacBook Air, the WiFi drops off randomly every 3-20 minutes and I have to toggle the internet on and off to get it to reconnect.
I turned off WiFi power management which helped initially. But now the problem has come back.
Here's some info:
I ran iwconfig
and got the following:
lo no wireless extensions.
wlp3s0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:"the internet"
Mode:Managed Frequency:5.22 GHz Access Point: 1C:93:7C:26:6F:C9
Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Power Management:off
I also ran lspci | grep -i net
and got 03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM4360 802.11ac Dual Band Wireless Network Adapter (rev 03)
but I'm not sure what to do with this information. Could I have the wrong driver or something?
Any advice would be appreciated!
