Winter weather

Hello I just moved recently from a warm state and am wondering how much it snows. I’ve heard from several locals it’s not bad and doesn’t snow too much and they do a pretty good job with salting the roads. I’m mainly asking because I don’t have an all wheel drive car and im concerned about if that will be enough for the winter in Long Island. I’m in Nassau county I also have all weather tires forgot to mention
