Conspiracy?! Is Konami nerfing cards to sell new packs?

I had this experience multiple times now. I build the new best meta deck because I actually enjoy the archetype, in this case Snake Eyes Azamina Fiendsmith.

The first month after the cards are released, everything is going amazing. The deck was incredibly strong, I spent a long time optimizing it and grinding on the ladder to improve my skill and ended up reaching Master 2.

Then 1 month after the pack releases and the new pack is bound to roll around, my win rate goes to almost 0.

Even in this case where they didn’t ban anything, I didn’t change any ratios or anything, now all of a sudden I am losing 9/10 coin tosses and every hand I get is bricky. No matter what ratios I try. And it’s not about my deckbuilding trust me.

The same thing happened a few months ago with tenpai.

Are they potentially nerfing decks in these ways by making u brick like crazy just to sell the new shiny decktype (in this case blue eyes)? Am I crazy?
