Staff vs travel
Sooo for a year or so I did a lot of local great “travel” contracts. My current contract is coming to a end of the 4th of august, and I’ve decided to take a staff position as the company made a pretty generous offer for a house supervisor position, still a pay cut, as they can’t match travel pay. Perfect hours for myself 3 12’s Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Super happy no more weekends. But my recruiter sent me a message offering a new contract little further outside my normal travel zone, about an hour 40 min drive from home and the contract honestly sounds pretty relaxed to what I’ve been used to. And making a bit more than what I’ve been used to and double of the staff position I just signed on for. The contract is for 12 weeks, do you think it’s crazy for me to try and swing both, it’s just 12 weeks. 3 12’s both locations. One is a 15 min drive (staff position) and the other is 1hr 40min drive. I just brought a house and I’m 25. Do you think it’s possible any advice… please really debating and on a time crunch to get my final decision to my recruiter. Thank you! 😬
