People/films you think only you would nominate
Just for fun. People/films that would legitimately make your Top 5 or 10 (honorale mention) in a given category, but you don't see discussions about them.
I am not thinking of the likes of Zendaya, Hemsworth, Haven, or Karagulian. More obscure ones from films most people probably haven't seen. I was inspired by seeing someone putting Danny McCarthy in their 5 for Good One, and I think that's wonderful.
The people I'd give shoutouts are
- Katherine Mallen Kupferer in Ghostlight
- Adria Arjona in Blink Twice
- Laurie Babin in Red Rooms
- Cillian Murphy in Small Things Like These
- Soheila Golestani and Mahsa Rostami in The Seed of the Sacred Fig.
I'd also love to see Haruka Nakamura and Jérôme Rebotier popping up more for scoring Look Back and The Count of Monte Cristo, respectively. The screenplay of Between the Temples is also on the brink for me.
