Christmas Gift

Sorry if this isn’t appropriate for the group but I’ve seen a lot of posts that reflect quite a disparity in income within the field so I thought I could get some advice. I’ve been a legal assistant for about two years now, and I have learned a lot and find the work interesting. However I make literally jack shit.

This is my first office job also and I know it is tradition to get the boss a small present for Christmas. (Some of the assistants also give little gifts and cards to their favorite co-workers.) This new lower income has really caught up to me and I just can’t afford to spend much. I have two attorneys I work for also.

Does anyone have suggestions on something nice and tasteful/appropriate? I am panicking because Monday is probably the last day I have to have something for both bosses.

I do have reasons for tolerating the abysmally low pay, so I won’t get into that. Just what do you get a rich person you don’t know that well for Christmas when you are broke AF?! Freaking out. :’(
