Can’t boot

I am building my first gaming pc and I have this issue on where I keep getting a red light on the cpu indicator on the motherboard (I have an MSI B840 gaming plus wifi and a 9800x3d) this is a new computer and I can’t even boot to the bios I also cannot find a good guide to update the bios and/or reset the cmos can someone please help me
