QUESTION!! So I've had my nipples pierced for almost two years now and ive noticed that even though they are cleaned regularly, they seem to get irritated or infected too often for my liking. When I shower and I clean them, sometimes i will see small white spots on my nipples and if i squeeze them, white pus will come out. It's gross and I hate that no matter how I maintain them, this problem keeps coming back. I do want to keep the piercings but I am unsure if it is worth it if they will cause any long term damage.

So is there anything I can do to prevent this from continuing? Or would it be better if i just removed the piercings completely?
