Spot the Imposter: Identifying the Fake Pikachu Promo Card - The Answer Lies in Number 2!

🔍 Mystery Solved! 🔍

A few weeks back, we challenged you to spot the fake PSA slab among the numbered cards from 1 to 4. The answer? Number 2!

Across all our socials, 28% of you got it wrong, but the majority nailed it, pointing out the impostor with ease!

As of 2017, PSA implemented advanced security features to make labels harder to replicate. Older slabs may look different, but most in circulation resemble the image above.

When inspecting a label, always verify the certification number and QR code by scanning it with your phone. Check that all details match the official PSA website.

But don't stop there! Fraudsters are crafty, often replicating labels convincingly. Look for subtle features like the lighthouse logo and faint blue fugitive ink pattern, best seen when light passes through the label.

If buying online, opt for platforms with buyer protection and ensure clear images of the slab.

Stay vigilant, collectors!
