Day/overnight in Norfolk?

Over the years have done many local trips in the area but never made our way to Norfolk (and don’t think it ever really comes up here when people ask), but it actually seems like a good spot…

Curious, for any feedback (good, bad) mainly looking to get out of town and see something new and the Chrysler Museum seems impressive…

Been to Charlotte and Richmond but open to other suggestions of places that are good when the weather is bad…
