Ors olive oil

Has anyone ever had a relaxer not work. I have been relaxing for a few years now and I used ors olive oil 6 weeks ago. It did nothing, I left it in for the 15-20 minutes and my hair is still the same texture, a little looser but definitely curly. Has this ever happened to you before?
