Vizio tv deal warning

My husband bought me this tv yesterday. He asked if I wanted it because it would come with AMC+. There is a series on there that I have been waiting to see, so I said yes. Got it home and set up. Found there are no instructions on how to claim the STARZ/AMC+ bundle. Tried going through the process on each app separately - no luck, just hourglassing. Also cannot find anything in writing about the 3yr warranty offered.

Called Sam’s, spoke to the manager on duty. Husband: “Your website says members get STARZ/AMC+ bundle with the purchase of this Vizio tv. How do I claim it?” Manager: “Instructions should be in the box.” Husband: “Nope.” Manager: “You will need to contact Vizio.” Husband: “What about the 3yr warranty? I don’t see it anywhere in writing.” Manager: “We don’t provide the bundle or extra warranty.” Husband: ”But your AD ON THE WEBSITE says those are member bonuses!” Manager: “You will need to call Vizio about these issues”. So I called Vizio: “Go to your apps and select the option for bundles.” Me: “There is no option for bundles.” Vizio: “Maybe your husband can help you find it.” Me: 😒. Husband comes and tells them there is no bundle option. He stays on the phone with them for an hour (cuz I’m done😤). They have him try to claim the deal through each app separately. Doesn’t work - just hourglassing. Vizio: “I’m sorry we can’t help you. You will need to contact the retailer.” Husband: “What about the 3yr warranty?” Vizio: “We don’t offer a 3yr warranty. You will need to contact the retailer.” Husband calls Sam’s again: “Vizio told us to call you.” Manager: “You need to call corporate.” Husband calls corporate…has to explain to rep three times what the issue is. Rep escalates his call. Submitted complaint, waiting for response.

Now we are having a discussion (argument) about returning the TV. Picture and sound are just okay. Also, Walmart just bought Vizio so this shouldn’t be a problem.

Tl;dr: Beware of this Vizio tv deal. Might be a bait and switch ad.
