How many times do Sunset voters want to vote on their Supervisor?

IF the Engardio recall petition gets enough signatures, this could be the process:

-File intent for a recall
-Hold a Recall vote on the Candidate
-Mayor Appoints temporary replacement
-New election is scheduled and district votes on temporary replacement
-Then a few months later the General election is held and the district votes for supervisor a third time

Mind you his term will be up at the end of 2025 so we’re talking about two extra elections to cut his term off 18 months. And Joel could even run in the 2025 general election. Doesn’t all this feel like a big waste of time? Why not just make the next election a referendum on prop k?
