Annual Sim Racing Convention/Expo?

are there any annual sim racing conventions or something similar? preferably in the US. really just looking for any opportunity to try out different gear. i hate ordering stuff without being able to try it. doesn't seem to be anything of the sort in the US, which is crazy, but hopefully i'm wrong.
