a late reflection on their vlogmas
so i’m watching lauren’s day 23 where she talks about not doing vlogmas next year and i just can’t help but think that lauren and Alisha are so incompetent?? Alisha more so than lauren constantly whines about how bad she is at vlogmas but she HAS to do it so she doesn’t disappoint her fans, and this really hits a nerve for me because i feel that what her fans want is good quality over quantity. I don’t think that anyone would care if she didn’t consistently post for vlogmas but they’d probably enjoy a lengthier vlog of a few days put together.
on average lauren’s videos are 22mins long and Alisha’s are 18mins long which isn’t that long, especially when you compare it to remi whose videos average 30mins. I don’t fully understand how they were struggling to make content because surely if you’ve been doing it for this long you would have a vague outline on things you could do each day? go ice skating with friends, xmas shopping, have a fun gingerbread house-making night, go for a drive to see Christmas lights maybe.
I just find it so hard to feel bad for them when they complain about vlogmas being so difficult especially when this year Zoe Sugg vlogged for 31 days straight in August and then did vlogmas on top of having 2 young kids (and a lot of the vids were 50+mins). I think they just don’t want to put in the effort anymore and that’s completely fine but if you don’t want to do it don’t make a half arsed attempt at it just stop.
sorry about the rant i just kind of think that they really need to stop acting like children who have no option but to do vlogmas when they have full control of what they choose to post.
