Stalker 2 looks/feels like a 10 year old game

Am I the only one that feels this way? I like the overall setting and concept but the gameplay, specifically the shooting mechanics, feels worse than a game like Fallout 3. Is there anything particularly innovative or interesting about this game I’m missing? Genuinely wondering if I’m missing something.

EDIT: Ended up returning the game, I guess I’m not the target audience. I was looking for a reason to invest in the game; I wanted the devs to get the revenue if possible given the harsh circumstances they’re operating under. Thank you to the commenters and Stalker community for convincing me this isn’t the game for me.
