Permanent Death Challenge failled?

So I am currently doing a 100% game completion and a permanent death challenge. And I stream it. I am 74 hours into the Challenge without having Link dying a single time.

But during the Gerudo Town Battle, I was wasting time collecting materials and Riju died...

And now I am conflicted. Is the permanent Death challenge failed? A gameover screen appeared... and a red X on map. So I reloaded. So no more red x. But now I can't claim i never Game over.

What do you guys think?
