my skill is getting worse????

ive been playing for three years now but ive really got into sniper now, i was doing really well (atleast compared to how i normally do) but after like 2 weeks im genuinely just terrible now, getting like 12-18 kills a game with my deaths usually being equal to my kills. its getting incredibly frustrating especially after seeing myself do good before, is this normal? how can i fix it?
