Small problem with Thinkpad T14 and Dell docking station. All works OK but sometimes it has no power and I need to reconnect power cable

Hi all. I just recently bought a Thinkpad T14 gen 1. It is the one with an AMD Ryzen CPU, Ryzen 7 Pro 4750U.

I also have a Dell docking station, which I have been using with my older Dell Laptop. This docking station is the model Dell WD15.

The docking station connects to the Thinkpad laptop through the USB-C cable. I have the docking station connected to 2 external monitors, mouse and keyboard. All works OK. I can close the lid of the laptop, and use the monitors, and everything seems OK.

The only problem I am having so far is that sometimes the laptop doesn't seem to fetch power to charge. So the docking station is connected to the laptop, and everything works fine, but the battery is discharging. To solve this, what I need to do is to unplug and plug the power cable from the docking station, and then I will also need to unplug/plug the USBC cable from the laptop. If I do this, then it all works fine, but as you can understand it is a bit annoying.

The PSU to the docking station is rated at 130W, so it is more than enough. I've also tried powering it with the PSU from the older Dell Laptop, which is rated at 65W, and the same behaviour happens.
