Montana House bill 300 proposes ban on transgender athletes from women's sports

“A new bill presented in the Montana legislative session aims to ban transgender athletes from participating in women's sports. House Bill 300 was introduced on January 31 to the House Judicial Committee.

“The bill seeks to revise the state's laws on discriminatory practices in education. If passed, it would affect K-12 and college athletic programs, as well as access to restrooms, locker rooms, and sleeping quarters.”
