Topical Minoxidil around toddlers

Hi guys, recently quit oral min and considering trying topical. I plan to use very little on a few thinning areas. I have two little ones and I’m worried it could rub off on them. When min dries is it still active? We cosleep sometimes with our kids. I’m worried it could get on them.

Also, how much of topical goes systematic? I had bloating, weight gain, arrhythmia on oral min.
