Death Battle #191: Bowser vs Eggman (Mario vs Sonic)
Here we go, the big bads of the two big rival series' going at it with all of their armies! Personally my bias going in was with Eggman just because I enjoy him and his minions/family like Metal Sonic and Sage more.
I love how super in depth the analysis for both of them was. The way it went into all of their minions and creations, the sheer scope of what both have, really sets up well for a proper Army vs Army battle. Bowser's vast array of insanely OP magic and feats was insane to see put out there. And Eggman's story always gets me especially with Frontiers introducing Sage. The fact that they both have reality warping, feats of defeating insane enemies, it really made it seem like anyone's game. I was still giving Eggman the advantage thanks to his superior intelligence.
THAT FIGHT WAS INSANE! Metal and Sage coming in clutch for the majority of the fight, Metal especially going toe to toe with Bowser and Jr. Eggman dominating for most of the fight was great, and the comeback from Bowser just annihilating everything while protecting his family was such a sight. The music, the action, the pure chaos of everything was amazing. This is an all timer fight.
Honestly? Not dissapointed with the result. Sure my favourite lost but the fight was amazing and the explanation made sense. Bowser's insane durability and his army dynamic taking it is an easy explanation. No complaints from me and hey, Eggman will totally find a way back like he always does.
NEXT TIME! Among Us vs Fall Guys ...Honestly, I was hoping this would never be made since seeing it in the old polls. It just seems like a meme fight with not much to go off of. Like, I'm sure it'll be fun. But really?
