Why do people study yoga teacher training instead of just practicing yoga

As the heading says, why the pull to yoga “teaching”? I understand that if you’re really into something, you study it further eg. team sports, languages, painting, whatever and etc. But, in those disciplines, I don’t really see people becoming “teachers”, whereas almost everyone who studies yoga, studies teaching yoga.

If we think of yoga as a “sport”, it seems more popular to become a yoga teacher than say a football/basketball teacher.

If we think of yoga as a spiritual practice, like Christianity, why don’t we see as many people becoming pastors and we do yoga teachers.

Love yoga but don’t understand so many people’s pull to teaching it.

Seems to me like a weird product the YTT 200h/300h.
