Just had a bad experience

So... a little backstory.

I decided to visit my mum because I hadn't seen her in a while. She said she wanted to go to one of her friends' places. Let's call her friend Harris. So we called a taxi and arrived at Harris's place.

She is a nice lady who is a very good cook. We brought some steak and some tuna. I started cooking with her and suddenly, she started talking about politics. This is where it all went downhill. She said that Trump kicked all LGBTQ+ members out of the army and she said that he was too nice and should have killed them and that everyone who is gay should "rot in hell". I already felt pretty bad and wanted to change the subject. I started talking about classical music and its benefits. She didn't care and started insulting Femboys, the LGBTQ, and the Trans community.

I was already pretty mad but I couldn't blow my cover. But I also couldn't just sit there and not argue about this being wrong. So I started defending the LGBTQ community and said that people have been gay and trans since the beginning of time. I also stated that more than 90% of giraffes partake in same-sex relationships. They looked at me like I just murdered someone and started talking about COVID being faked and Trump being our savior EVEN THOUGH we don't live in the US.

I was already fuming but I also couldn't express my "liking" of the LGBTQ community. I tried arguing but Harris just told me to "shut up" and believe in God and Calin Georgescu(a politician from Romania who is extremely bigoted).

I ate in silence just feeling defeated. Harris also told me that it's abnormal to be a femboy and that men need to treat the females like gods and that only MEN should work. I was dumbfounded.
