This is an anti-Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) community. While nothing is all bad, this community believes treatment is ineffective, inhumane and outdated. We strive to see a better future within mental health and explore new solutions for future generations. We support all fellow TTI Survivors and applaud those eager to help others. However this subreddit allows survivors to take a break from explanation and justification without judgement.

We are a community of survivors and advocates who oppose the abusive Troubled Teen Industry. We seek to raise awareness and to change the law to protect the teenagers in these programs from harm. Join us in our fight to combat abuse and neglect in 'troubled teen' programs! Together we can make a difference!

We are a community outreach group that was created to not only inform and help, but to advocate for children and teens from broken homes and the Troubled Teen Industry facilities. Our mission is to change the future of treatment and find solutions for at risk youth and young adults before they end up in a WWASP/TTI camp or school. Being that we ourselves are also survivors of neglectful homes and or neglectful treatment facilities, we believe we can make a change for the better.
