I’m glad they are here. It seems like it took them a very long time to get here though.

We need to see a plan for letting impacted residents back in to either collect needed things left, or check on their property. It’s a complete lockdown today. Controlling potential looting is always a concern, and maybe MRAPs help with that image. I keep listening to updates, but they are just status updates. For areas that are already burned through - what’s the plan for helping people get back in for a few hours? I also think that when people can’t get back, they hesitate on leaving when the next warning goes up somewhere else.

I’ll add that the police we talked to controlling the entrance told us maybe they would get an update on when they could let people back in. So no plan has been communicated to people working the area.
